Lite Bites

📦 Louise Bourgeois kept most of her life’s possessions in labelled boxes, calling them “a diary without dates.”

🖋 “An artist is not paid for his labour, but for his vision.” – James Whistler

📱 David Hockney, at age 83, swapped paintbrushes for an iPad, calling it “faster than charcoal” and creating a whole series of digital landscapes.

🎮 In 1958, physicist William Higinbotham created "Tennis for Two," a simple tennis simulation on an oscilloscope, marking one of the earliest known video games.

Mona’s notes

Making lists is a coping mechanism. Getting the ‘to do’ out of my chaotic brain is always a win. When I put something in writing, it feels like it becomes a part of the archive of humanity that future archaeologists may unearth from my phone or notebook amidst the rubble of time…only to discover cryptic words like banana, application, call CB, eyebrows, return shoes… Poetry.

I found this one list which helps me to remain consistent. I hope it helps you as much as it is helping me —

  1. Show up today.

  2. You can always quit tomorrow. 🙄

  3. Repeat. 🔁

Rinse & repeat guys.

Love Mona x
